PMs of Reddit, What would you want in an ideal User Research Tool?

Hi all!

Recently I’ve been ideating on a lightweight user research product management tool. Currently, there are some tools out there (GreatQuestion, DoveTail) that are research repositories of sorts. They give you a variety of ways to conduct research and hoard it in a single spot.

User interviews are a way you can sit down with a customer and get their feedback in an unfiltered way, which can be valuable in driving growth to a product. There are tools that let you set that call up, but don’t go much further as it pertains to your product specifically (Aka, i got feedback, but where do I go from here?).

As a product manager and someone who works day in and day out with iterating on a product, what would be something useful to have in a user interview platform? Rather than just a container of research, what could the tool do to actually be more useful in your workflow to help you ideate?
