Startup Co-founder (UX → Product Head) Looking to Transition into PM Roles- Advice?

Hey folks,

I’ve spent the last 2.5 years working at a fintech startup I co-founded- starting as a UX designer, then evolving into Product Head. We built a platform to simplify education payments in India, got some recognition, but couldn’t launch the product due to heavy RBI regulatory hurdles.

After 2 years of pushing through, I’m now looking to transition into a PM role in a more structured org- where I can ship at scale, solve user problems, and continue learning.

What’s the best way to present my background (especially when the product never launched)? Any resume/portfolio tips or PM-friendly roles that are a good fit for ex-founders? Happy to hear your blunt takes.
